I have been thinking about my job and how grateful I am to be able to center my role in our school around learning and growing as a person and a teacher. I think that this quote is so tied to that.
So many times, teachers are called upon to do things and attend meetings and it can be maddening. I find it easier to cope with the demands of this crazy/wonderful/blessed career when I can take a moment to be positive and gain perspective about WHY we do what we do.
